This is the picture we wrapped up for our parents and surprised them on Christmas Eve. The only difference is there was a thought bubble by Mike's head saying, "Look what I did!" We have both moms on video screaming when they opened their packages. We also bought "I love Grandma" and "I love Grandpa" bibs to place in each present. It was priceless! Mike's sister, Nikki, started crying even before she saw the picture. I guess Kathy's screams were enough to tell her the good news. On Christmas day we were able to text and call the rest of our friends and share the news with them. It was very hard keeping it a secret. I think my sister was amazed I didn't tell her. However, I promised Mike I wouldn't tell anyone in my family.Wednesday, December 31, 2008

Sick still....
Well today Deborah and I hit The Woodlands Mall and I am exhausted. I really hope I get my energy back very soon! I'm sad because my laptop has a virus and I can't seem to get rid of it. =( I got on Myspace for the very last time! I have a Facebook account now, so if you are a Facebook person look me up. Other than walking all over the mall and purchasing a few items, we didn't do much else. The day seemed to go by so fast! I did purchase a Bella Band for my pants. This way I can still wear my pants, but I don't have to button them! Baby Welch is very happy about not feeling so cramped. Deborah is staying until New Year's Day and than will head back to Elgin. I think we are going to a movie and dinner for New Year's Eve. I hope everyone has a safe New Year's and is careful ringing in 2009!

Well today is Monday and both Mike and I have off together. We got home from Elgin last night and my sister came back with us. We told our families on Christmas Eve the great news. They were all so excited to hear there will be a new addition to the family. I go to the doctor on January 6th for our first sonogram. We are really excited! My mom took me shopping for maternity clothes last Friday, even though I don't really need them yet. It is strange how my body is changing. I do have a small bump, but so far I can still fit into my pants. I plan on relaxing the rest of the week, so I'm ready when school starts again. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
