The String Bean

Well today is Saturday and we went for our 12 weeks ultrasound this morning. Here is the most recent picture of our baby. It is about 2 inches and the heart rate was at 153 beats per minute. Mike thinks it is a boy now, because the heart beat is slower. I think the baby was just taking a nap, although I don't know how because she was moving Bean around a lot with her little wand. She was very quick to finish the ultrasound, which made me somewhat sad. It wasn't in 4D either, so we couldn't see the pictures as clear as in the doctor's office. However, everything seems to be going fine. Bean was moving around some, probably telling us to leave it alone. She tried to get a picture of Bean's face, but it looks like an alien to me, so I didn't post that one. Deborah and I also spent about an hour in Babies R' Us. Wow, I think it is possible to get lost in there. We test drove some of the strollers, but Deborah wouldn't get in so I could push her around. She was amazed at some of the soft baby blankets, so I think I know what I'll get her for her birthday. I feel that they would be long enough for her. Anyway, I'm feeling better today, no morning sickness! Hopefully things will get better in that department soon. Okay, that is all for now....
