32 Weeks

Well I went back to the doctor on Monday for my 32 week check-up. Everything is going well, and my cervix is still sealed shut. Dr. Smith decided to keep me on my medicine until 34 weeks an than she will take me off of it. She says that McKenna can come any time after that. She did monitor me for about 40 minutes and then she came in and told me she was sending me to the hospital for observation. Apparently McKenna's heart rate dipped twice and she was worried. So she told me to go home, eat dinner and drink something cold to wake her up. I met Mike at home and he already had food ready. We got to the hospital and after a few minutes it was obvious that she was fine. My appointment was at 4:00 and I ate lunch at 12:30 with my aunt and uncle. I guess I should have eaten a snack before I went to the doctor, but I didn't think I would be there that long. They think that she was maybe hungry, which caused her to be sluggish. Anyway all is fine, and we were sent home with a clean bill of health. I never thought there was a problem with her anyway. So, things are good, and we are headed to Elgin this Saturday for my baby shower. Luckily my preterm labor test came back negative again, so Dr. Smith feels it is safe for me to travel.
