First picture of the baby

Today Mike and I went to our first appointment and we heard the baby's heartbeat and saw beautiful Baby Beanie. That is the nickname I gave it, because it kind of looks like a bean with arms and legs. It was kicking both legs and waving its right arm. Dr. Smith said that our baby was waving at us! The heartbeat was 171 beats per min, which is very strong. It was such an amazing day! I also found out I'm a few days further along than we thought. I was guessing my due date was between August 8-11th, but she told me I'm 10 weeks and due August 4th. This made my sister happy, because she will still be off from work for summer break. I will try and post our first pictures tomorrow after Mike scans them in at work. I think I'm headed off to bed early tonight. The Texas game kept me up last night and I'm very tired. I'll post more soon!
